UPDATED RECALL INFORMATION: Kimberly-Clark Recovers 97% of Impacted Kotex Natural Balance* Security® Unscented Tampons Regular Absorbency Involved in Recent Product Recall

On November 9, Kimberly-Clark announced a product recall of a limited number of its Kotex Natural Balance* Security® Unscented Tampons Regular Absorbency distributed to specific stores in the United States.

Since this announcement, Kimberly-Clark’s aggressive product recovery efforts have resulted in the successful containment and recovery of 97% of impacted product identified within the scope of this recall.

These efforts have also allowed us to confidently remove several lot numbers and store locations from the impacted list. Please see the attachments in the Related Documents section for an updated listing of stores and updated listing of impacted product SKU / Lot Numbers.

Since our November 9 announcement, Kimberly-Clark has successfully recovered all of the 18-count boxes associated with this recall.

Consumers who believe they may have this product should cease using the product and contact Kimberly-Clark at 1-800-335-6839.

Consumers are encouraged to compare the SKU and Lot numbers located on the bottom of their Kotex Natural Balance* Security® Unscented Tampons Regular Absorbency carton to determine if their product is part of this recall.
